Qualifications

• 5+ years hospital government payer/commercial collector experience.
• Associates degree or equivalent work experience required.
• Knowledge of contract interpretation and hospital billing requirements.
• Familiar with multiple payer types including commercial, governmental, Medicare, Medicaid, HMO.

Responsibilities

• Billings and follow-up for government payers and other payers.
• Resolve claim rejections and secure payments per payer guidelines.
• Maintain deficiency lists and attach documents for claims.
• Ensure billing through account closure and compliance with regulations.
