Job summary

General Dynamics IT seeks a Contracts Manager to contribute to strategic direction and support mission outcomes within the Homeland Security sector. You will manage the contract life cycle from NDAs to closeout and lead cross-functional teams.

The role requires a Bachelor's degree, 7+ years of experience, and active TS/SCI with Poly. Onsite work in Herndon, VA is expected, with a hybrid schedule.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree required.
• 7+ years of related experience.
• Microsoft Office Suite experience; Oracle preferred.
• Advanced knowledge of contracts administration practices, procedures, and laws (FAR, DFARS, CAS).
• Experience with negotiation and administration of Government contracts.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to the strategic direction of the business and support mission outcomes in Contracts Management.
• Lead contract life cycle activities including NDAs, Teaming Agreements, Proposals, Negotiation, Administration and Closeout.
• Provide expert guidance on contract terms and applicable legal requirements (FAR).
• Coordinate with program managers, finance, and subcontract professionals in a collaborative environment.
