Job summary

General Dynamics IT in Falls Church, VA seeks a Senior Contracts Administrator to independently manage complex government contracts, ensuring compliance with SBA requirements, FAR/DFARS, and applicable laws. You will create, revise, review, negotiate, and oversee federally funded contracts, contributing to mission-critical outcomes for SOCOM programs.

The role emphasizes cradle-to-grave contract management, proposal support, risk analysis, and collaboration with customers and internal teams.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or 4+ years of related work experience.
• 5+ years of DoD government contracts experience.
• Security clearance: Secret or higher required.
• US citizenship required.
• Travel: Less than 10%.
• Hybrid work location: Onsite three days per week in Falls Church, VA.
• Proficient in MS Office products (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Project, OneNote).
• Certifications: CFCM, CPCM, or a contract management certificate from an accredited institution.
• DoD government contracts experience in a classified space.

Responsibilities

• Administer cradle to grave management of assigned contracts, including contract modifications.
• Lead and support proposal activities, including analyzing solicitations and developing strategies with risk analysis.
• Advise management on contractual rights and obligations, risk mitigation, and business strategies.
• Maintain logs, trackers, and data for contract activity and generate reports.
• Coordinate with other company functions to obtain reviews, approvals, and signatures.
• Lead negotiation of contract terms from proposal stage through project closeout.
• Coordinate with the subcontracts team on documentation and changes.
• Develop or review prime contracts and subcontract flow-down documents.
• Prepare, track, and submit Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs).
• Assist HR, Finance, and Procurement in fulfilling contractual agreements.
