Job summary

ADP, Inc. is seeking a Senior Government Contracting Subject Matter Expert to support curriculum development, course modernization, and technical writing for federal acquisition training.

The role requires 10+ years of federal contracting experience and a Contracting Officer warrant, with a focus on policy alignment and SOP-based content. The position is remote-capable as a 1099 part-time surge role, offering flexible daytime and weekend hours to support audits, updates, and curriculum reviews

Qualifications

• 10+ years federal contracting experience (15 preferred).
• Previously held Contracting Officer warrant.
• Expert knowledge of FAR, DFARS, and agency supplements.
• Experience with curriculum development or acquisition training.
• Strong technical writing skills.
• Ability to work independently or in a teamwork environment in a 1099 part-time, surge capacity.
• Daytime, after hours and weekend flexibility is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide senior-level acquisition expertise for course development and updates.
• Review and validate training content, storyboards, scripts, and eLearning materials.
• Deliver annotated SME feedback and participate in audits and course review sessions.
• Translate FAR/DFARS requirements into clear, instruction-ready training content including RFO, EO and other applicable policy changes.
• Support strategic learning analysis and policy-aligned recommendations.
