Job summary

SAIC is seeking a Senior Contract Support Assistant to provide SETA support to the National Reconnaissance Office. The role requires active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph and 5+ years in government contracting.

You will assist the Contracting Officer with SOW development, contract modifications, and EPX system updates, while ensuring compliance and timely deliverables. The position is based in Reston, VA, with strong team coordination and office management duties.

Qualifications

• Active TS/SCI clearance with polygraph.
• 5+ years in a Government acquisition contracting office.
• Working knowledge of current Government contracting regulations and procurement procedures.
• Proficiency preparing contract files for review.
• Ability to coordinate between Government organizations and summarize information for presentations.
• Works well in small and large teams.

Responsibilities

• Provide direct support to a Government Contracting Officer in execution of duties.
• Assist with development of statements of work or data deliverable requirements.
• Prepare contract modifications and supporting documentation (funding, award fee, extensions).
• Enter contractual info into EPX Studio and monitor contractor performance.
• Review official contract files to ensure contractual actions are satisfied.
• Provide general office management support (typing, filing, scheduling).
• Assist with invoice processing and tracking invoices and action items.
• Prepare reports for CO, Team Chief, or Senior Contracting Officer.
• Submit expired contracts into contracts close-out process.
