Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in accounting (strongly preferred) or finance.
Extensive knowledge of government accounting principles and FAR/CAS.
Experience managing government contracts and grants accounting systems.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in financial data.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to lead and mentor accounting staff.

Responsibilities

Oversee design and maintenance of financial systems for government contracts and grants.
Provide technical accounting guidance to ensure compliance with government standards.
Ensure accuracy of financial reports for government contracts and grants.
Lead and coordinate audits and respond to auditor inquiries.
Manage projects related to government accounting, including timelines and budgets.
