Job summary

Talentify seeks an experienced accounting professional to independently perform professional accounting, financial analysis, budgeting, reconciliation, and reporting to support district financial operations. You will review financial data, prepare reports, monitor budgets, resolve discrepancies, and ensure compliance with GAAP and governmental standards.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or closely related field.
• Four years of accounting experience including governmental accounting and general ledger work.
• Two years of governmental accounting or related field experience.

Responsibilities

• Independently prepare, review, analyze, and post journal entries and financial transactions.
• Maintain and reconcile general ledger accounts with minimal supervision.
• Review financial data for proper classification, coding, and reporting of activity.
• Support accounts payable/receivable and cash management processes.
• Monitor budgets and expenditures and investigate variances.
