MariaDB is expanding its Cloud engineering team in the United States and seeks a Site Reliability Engineer to own production reliability in AWS GovCloud and Google Cloud. You will deploy Kubernetes-based infrastructure, drive GitOps pipelines, and collaborate with global SRE teams to meet FedRAMP and security requirements, while maintaining observability and incident response in a hybrid US-based role.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in SRE/DevOps with production Kubernetes experience.
• Strong infrastructure-as-code and GitOps experience.
• Solid Linux and networking fundamentals.
• Experience with observability tooling and log pipelines.
• Go, Python, or Bash scripting ability.
• Clear written communication; runbooks and incident reports.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and operate Kubernetes-based infra in AWS GovCloud and Google Cloud.
• Own production reliability of the U.S. government cloud environment.
• Run and maintain observability, logging, and CI/CD tooling on Kubernetes.
• Implement security hardening and FedRAMP compliance with teams.
• Automate repetitive tasks into code.
• Participate in on-call rotations.
