Job summary

Coalfire is seeking a Senior Google Cloud Security Consultant to lead architecture design, assessments, and advisory work for enterprise GCP engagements.

You will translate business risk into scalable security programs, mentor teams, and drive security maturity across IAM, networking, and data protection. Remote-friendly with travel up to 25%, you’ll influence executives and deliver practical, repeatable security solutions.

Qualifications

• 6+ years of security consulting across domains with at least 2 years as a Google Cloud consultant.
• Proven track record delivering Google Cloud security architecture, posture modernization, and operationalization outcomes.
• Hands-on leadership in cloud security projects across security, cloud, DevOps, architecture, compliance, and operations teams.
• Experience integrating cloud-native security platforms, SIEM, CNAPP/CSPM, logging, monitoring, vulnerability management, and SOC workflows.
• History with regulatory or industry frameworks such as FedRAMP, FISMA, HIPAA, HITRUST, PCI, CMMC, or similar.

Responsibilities

• Lead secure Google Cloud architecture design and reviews across IAM, networking, workload protection, data protection, logging, monitoring, and compliance.
• Advise enterprise clients on GCP security strategy aligned to risk, regulatory requirements, and priorities.
• Lead security posture assessments to identify high-impact risks, misconfigurations, and control gaps.
• Develop executive-ready findings and remediation roadmaps for security maturity improvements.
• Guide customers on Vertex AI security, governance, logging, and SOC workflow design.
• Create architecture diagrams, assessment deliverables, and implementation runbooks.
