Job summary
Stanford University Golf Course is seeking a Lead Assistant Golf Professional to join its operations leadership team. You will oversee daily golf operations, outside services, and tournament execution, reporting to the Head Golf Professional.
The role emphasizes delivering a premier member and guest experience. The ideal candidate has PGA membership or progress toward Class A, plus demonstrated leadership, NCAA event experience, and proficiency with Golf Genius and POS systems.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree and five years of experience or equivalent combination.
- PGA membership preferred; Class A in good standing.
- Minimum two years of experience at a private club, resort, university, or premier golf facility.
- Experience supervising staff and managing golf operations.
- Experience with NCAA events or collegiate athletics.
- Experience with Golf Genius, Club Caddie, POS systems.
Responsibilities
- Provide daily leadership and oversight of golf operations.
- Lead outside services, staff development, and member services.
- Support NCAA events, championship operations, and tournaments.
- Utilize Golf Genius and related tournament management platforms.
- Identify opportunities to enhance service delivery and efficiency.
