Job summary

LaBar Golf is seeking a Project Superintendent, Level II, to lead on-site construction efforts across remote US locations. You will oversee crews, enforce safety, coordinate with project managers, and ensure quality workmanship on a single project from mobilization to completion.

The role requires in-depth golf course construction knowledge, strong leadership, and travel up to 90% with comprehensive benefits and a competitive salary.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in golf course construction (earthwork, irrigation, bunkers, drainage, shaping, greens, tees, grassing).
• Strong field leader with sound judgment and problem-solving skills; decisive under pressure.
• Proven ability to enforce safety standards and maintain disciplined site operations.
• Skilled at crew and subcontractor management; committed to mentoring talent.
• Experienced in manpower planning, look-ahead scheduling, and equipment utilization.
• Strong communicator; trusted by crews, Project Managers, clients, and leadership.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily site operations of assigned project, ensuring alignment with plans, schedules, and safety.
• Manage on-site staff and subcontractor crews, setting expectations and accountability.
• Identify risks early; implement improvements to maintain momentum.
• Serve as daily on-site point of contact for clients, inspectors, and architects.
• Provide regular progress updates to General Superintendent and Project Manager.
• Maintain accountability for materials and equipment; safeguard against loss.
