Job summary

Tanglewood Golf Course seeks a Golf Course Superintendent to lead maintenance operations and improve the grounds. The role collaborates with the Golf Shop Manager and owners to build daily work schedules and coordinate equipment with the team.

The candidate should have at least 3 years of golf course or turf experience, strong physical stamina, a valid driver's license, and solid communication and organizational skills. Housing may be provided, and golf privileges are included under the package.

Qualifications

• Minimum 3 years on a golf course or turf-related field.
• Able to perform physical labor for extended periods.
• Must possess valid driver’s license and operate a vehicle safely.
• Strong communication and organizational skills are required.
• Ability to perform calibration calculations and basic math.

Responsibilities

• Promote player satisfaction through quality maintenance and clear communications.
• Train others in proper procedures and maintenance tasks.
• Keep equipment, grounds and buildings clean, organized and safe.
• Expand turf grass culture knowledge and course conditioning techniques.
• Assist in safety practices per regulations and PPE use.
• Maintain awareness of pump station and irrigation components; perform head/pipe repairs.
• Locate valves and irrigation features; sod work after repairs.
• Communicate professionally with owners, management, staff, suppliers, and players.
