Job summary

Warwick Hills Golf & Country Club seeks a Director of Agronomy / Golf Course Superintendent to lead all agronomic operations for the championship golf course and club grounds. The role reports to the General Manager and drives turf health, water management, budgeting, staffing, and long-range planning with a focus on delivering exceptional playing conditions and member experience.

The successful candidate will collaborate with senior leadership, committees, and members to safeguard turf

Qualifications

7–10 years progressive golf course maintenance experience.
Experience as a Superintendent, Head Superintendent, or Assistant Superintendent at private clubs.
Experience preparing courses for high-level championships.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement comprehensive agronomic programs for exceptional playing conditions.
Direct maintenance and presentation for greens, tees, fairways, roughs, and practice facilities.
Oversee fertility, plant health, pest management, drainage, irrigation, and turf performance.
Monitor course conditions daily and adjust practices based on weather and events.
Prepare long-range plans and manage capital projects for course improvements.
Ensure safety, regulatory compliance, and environmental stewardship.
