Job summary

Wissen Technology is seeking a Mid-to-Senior Golang Developer with strong Apache Kafka expertise to join our client-focused team in a hybrid setup. You will design and implement high-performance, event-driven microservices, and help scale data pipelines across distributed systems.

Responsibilities include building RESTful and gRPC services, tuning Kafka topics, and collaborating with DevOps and frontend teams in an Agile environment.

Qualifications

• 5–10 years of professional backend engineering with production-grade Golang development.
• Deep knowledge of Go's concurrency patterns and memory management.
• Proven Apache Kafka experience in production environments.
• Experience designing event-driven microservices and distributed systems.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and gRPC services.
• Experience with SQL/NoSQL databases (PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Redis).
• Strong testing practices with unit and integration tests.

Responsibilities

• Develop high-throughput microservices in Go integrated with Kafka.
• Design scalable architecture with low-latency REST/gRPC services.
• Configure and tune Kafka producers/consumers and topics.
• Collaborate with DevOps and frontend teams in an Agile environment.
• Mentor and guide teams on Go best practices.
