BCforward, a leading IT consulting and workforce solutions firm, is seeking a Senior Software Engineer (GoLang) for a 6-month contract in Jersey City, NJ. You will design and implement APIs and cloud services, write GoLang code, and operate in Kubernetes environments.

The role requires hands-on development, API expertise, and strong problem-solving skills. The position offers competitive hourly compensation ($75–$85/hr) with W2 and a 40-hour work week, on-site in Jersey City.

Formación

• 5+ years of hands-on software development experience.
• Strong GoLang development experience.
• Kubernetes (EKS) knowledge is preferred.
• CI/CD tools experience, especially Jenkins.
• Ability to explain API design and development decisions.

Responsabilidades

• Design, develop, and maintain APIs and cloud platform services.
• Write hands-on GoLang code to build scalable solutions.
• Deploy and support services in Kubernetes-based environments.
• Contribute to infrastructure-as-code and CI/CD processes.
• Troubleshoot complex technical challenges and design reliable solutions.
