Job summary

TEKsystems in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a GoLang Engineer to support the modernization of a large-scale customer engagement and rewards platform. You will develop Go-based microservices in a cloud-native environment, focusing on scalability and reliability.

You will collaborate with cross-functional teams—engineering, QA, product management, and production support—to deliver value through the full software development lifecycle, applying best practices in CI/CD, testing, and architecture.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience developing applications using GoLang in a microservices architecture.
• Strong experience in application design, software development, and testing within Agile environments.
• Experience working with Git-based version control systems on collaborative development teams.
• Experience with open-source frameworks and tools; contributing to or maintaining open-source projects is a plus.
• Experience working with relational and NoSQL databases such as PostgreSQL, MongoDB, Couchbase, or Cassandra.
• Proven success designing and developing high-volume, highly available RESTful APIs.
• Experience with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar platforms.
• Familiarity with automated testing, build pipelines, and software quality practices.
• Demonstrated ability to learn new technologies quickly and apply them to solve complex business problems.
• Hands-on experience with containerization and orchestration technologies including Docker and Kubernetes.
• Experience with development collaboration tools such as Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, or similar platforms.
• Strong understanding of software engineering principles, system design, and distributed computing concepts.
• Excellent communication and collaboration skills with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience designing scalable, cloud-native solutions in public cloud environments, preferably Google Cloud Platform (GCP).
