Job summary

NVIDIA is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to help design and build a distributed storage service for AI/ML. You will lead architecture, develop Go-based services, and ensure high availability for large-scale deployments.

You will collaborate across NVIDIA Research, Computing, and Product teams, driving end-to-end automation and cloud integration. The role emphasizes ownership, scalability, and impact across NVIDIA’s critical AI workflow.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field, with 8+ years of industry experience.
• Strong background in distributed systems using Golang and Kubernetes.
• Track record of delivering distributed services in varied environments.
• Experience implementing storage services for scalable, high-performance solutions.
• History of owning product delivery from inception to support.
• Experience deploying, managing, and debugging apps in Kubernetes environments.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Lead the architecture and design of the distributed storage service optimized for AI/ML.
• Develop and maintain distributed, robust Go programs deployed to open-source ecosystems, including Kubernetes.
• Develop and maintain user-space apps, containers, Go-bindings, and CLI tools.
• Build features for reliability and availability in large-scale deployments.
• Collaborate with NVIDIA Research, Computing, and Product teams and external customers.
• Automate end-to-end deployment, management, and monitoring of the service.
