Job summary

Bright Vision Technologies is seeking a Go Developer for a 100% remote role in the United States. You will design and build high-performance backend services, cloud-native applications, and tooling in Go, prioritizing latency, concurrency, and production readiness.

The ideal candidate has 6+ years of software experience with strong Go expertise, plus hands-on work with gRPC/REST, Kubernetes, and distributed systems.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical discipline.
• Five or more years of professional software engineering experience, with significant time in Go.
• Strong understanding of Go concurrency patterns (goroutines, channels, contexts).
• Hands-on experience building production gRPC and/or REST APIs in Go.
• Experience with Kubernetes-native development (client-go, controller-runtime).
• Solid experience with relational and key-value data stores.
• Strong understanding of distributed systems and networking fundamentals.
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and container-based deployment.
• Excellent debugging and performance-engineering skills.
• Strong communication and documentation skills.

Responsibilities

• Design and build high-performance backend services in Go.
• Develop cloud-native applications and tooling with a focus on latency and concurrency.
• Collaborate with product, design, engineering, operations, and business teams to translate requirements.
• Mentor junior engineers and contribute to design and code reviews.
