Vision Square INC is seeking a Talented Golang Developer to join the engineering team in Menlo Park, CA. You will design, develop, test, and maintain Go-based backend services, collaborating with product managers, architects, and other engineers to deliver reliable, scalable software.

The role emphasizes performance optimization, API design, and distributed systems. Requires 5+ years of experience, strong Go skills, and solid knowledge of C/C++.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in CS or related field or equivalent practical experience.
• 5+ years of professional software development experience.
• Strong hands-on experience with Go/Golang.
• Good working knowledge of C++ and C.
• Strong understanding of data structures, algorithms, and object-oriented programming.
• Experience developing APIs, backend services, or distributed applications.
• Familiarity with concurrency, multithreading, memory management, and performance optimization.
• Experience with SQL and/or NoSQL databases.
• Proficiency with Git and standard software development tools.
• Understanding of software development methodologies, testing practices, and debugging techniques.
• Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain robust applications and backend services using Go/Golang.
• Develop and enhance high-performance components using C++ and C where required.
• Build scalable, secure, and maintainable software systems.
• Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.
• Design and implement RESTful APIs, microservices, and distributed systems.
• Participate in architecture discussions, code reviews, and technical design sessions.
• Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve software defects and production issues.
• Develop unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure product quality.
• Optimize application performance, reliability, and resource utilization.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Contribute to CI/CD pipelines, automation, and development best practices.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation.
