Synechron is seeking an experienced Golang Developer to support technology initiatives for our project. The ideal candidate will have strong system-level programming expertise, excellent problem-solving skills, and experience developing high-performance, scalable applications in a Linux environment. This role involves working closely with engineering, infrastructure, and business teams to build and enhance mission-critical financial technology platforms.

Additional Information*

The base salary for this position will vary based on geography and other factors.

In accordance with law, the base salary for this role if filled within Menlo Park, CA/ Alpharetta, GA is $110K-$120K/year & benefits (see below).

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain robust applications using Golang, C, and C++.

Requirements:

• 05+ years of professional software development experience.
• Extensive experience with C and C++ programming.
• Strong understanding of Data Structures, Algorithms, and Object-Oriented Programming.
• Experience with Linux/Unix environments.
• Knowledge of multithreading, concurrency, memory management, and performance tuning.
• Experience with RESTful APIs and microservices architecture.
• Familiarity with Git, CI/CD pipelines, and software development best practices.
• Strong debugging and troubleshooting skills.

Preferred, but not required:

• Experience in the financial services, banking, trading, or capital markets domain.
• Experience with low-latency or high-throughput systems.
• Knowledge of Go concurrency patterns, goroutines, channels, and Go modules.
• Experience with C++11/14/17/20 standards and modern C++ development practices.
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs, gRPC, TCP/IP, and networking protocols.
• Experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka, RabbitMQ, or similar platforms.
• Knowledge of relational and NoSQL databases.
• Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.
• Familiarity with Linux scripting, Make, CMake, Jenkins, GitLab CI, or similar tools.
• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments.
