Job summary

Fruition Group US is seeking Senior, Principal, or Lead GNC Engineers to join a world-class aerospace team. You’ll design, develop, and validate advanced guidance, navigation, and control solutions across the full lifecycle and work with cross-functional teams to solve critical problems in space and autonomous flight.

Role involves ownership of complex challenges, mentorship of engineers, and direct influence on architecture and development of next-gen aerospace platforms.

Qualifications

• 7+ years in GNC, flight controls, autonomy, robotics, or related systems.
• 10+ years preferred for Principal/Lead level candidates.
• Strong expertise in dynamics, control theory, estimation, and aerospace systems.
• Experience developing and implementing GNC algorithms for real-world systems.
• Proficient with MATLAB/Simulink, Python, C++, or similar environments.

Responsibilities

• Develop and own advanced GNC algorithms for spacecraft, aircraft, and autonomous systems.
• Design guidance algorithms, control laws, state estimation, and sensor fusion solution.
• Lead modeling, simulation, trajectory analysis, and system performance optimization.
• Develop high-fidelity simulations using MATLAB/Simulink, Python, C++, or similar tools.
• Drive SIL, HIL, and system validation activities.
• Support integration, commissioning, flight testing, and mission operations.
• Analyze performance, investigate anomalies, and improve reliability.
• Lead technical trade studies and influence system architecture decisions.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering teams.
• Take ownership of critical GNC subsystems and challenges.
