Draper is seeking a senior Systems Engineer at Space Force Station, Florida, to conceptualize, develop, analyze, and assess GN&C systems for defense applications, including high-fidelity models and test planning.

The position emphasizes leading teams, completing SRR/PDR/CDR baselines, and applying data analytics to improve system performance, while documenting technical work for stakeholders.

Formación

• Experience evaluating high-precision inertial systems (gyroscopes/accelerometers) and understanding device physics.
• Experience in verification and validation planning and execution, including design of test methodologies.
• Demonstrated experience completing system design baseline activities i.e. SRR, PDR, CDR.
• Strong ability to lead small to medium-sized teams, collaborate, and present to stakeholders across boundaries.
• Ability to apply data analysis methods and analytics tools to extract useful information.
• Ability to document and communicate work to a technical audience.

• Help define an I&T approach for a component/subsystem/system and execute plan independently.
• Contribute high-quality content for technical reports and presentations with minimal guidance.
• Adapt to changes in program requirements.
• Proactively identify needs and concerns and communicate them to project leadership.
