Job summary

US Tech Solutions is seeking a GMP analytical chemist in Thousand Oaks for a 6-month contract. The role requires independent execution of analytical methods, accurate data documentation, and interpretation of results across drug substance and product testing.

Qualified candidates will have a BS in analytical science, about 5 years of GMP lab experience, and familiarity with HPLC/UPLC, GC, dissolution, UV-Vis, and LC-MS techniques.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Analytical Chemistry, Chemistry, Biochemistry, Pharmaceutical Sciences, or related science.
• Approximately 5 years of relevant analytical lab experience in GMP environments.
• Experience with analytical testing of synthetic pharmaceutical materials is strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of GMP, data integrity, and good documentation practices.
• Ability to independently execute procedures and generate reproducible results.
• Experience troubleshooting instrumentation and methods.

Responsibilities

• Perform GMP analytical testing of substances and materials per methods, specs, and SOPs.
• Plan and organize lab activities to meet timelines with minimal supervision.
• Document preparation, instrument conditions, calculations, observations, and results with traceability.
• Review and interpret data to ensure accuracy, completeness, and reliability.
• Operate and maintain laboratory equipment and analytical instruments.
• Support method transfer, qualification, verification, and validation activities.
• Prepare and review GMP documentation including notebooks, reports, and summaries.
• Ensure safety, compliance, and data integrity across all activities.
