Job summary

Ratememore in Charlotte, NC seeks a true GBP/Local SEO authority to own our Google Business Profile ecosystem across a growing portfolio. This leadership role requires 10–15+ years in local SEO with proven results and can be remote or hybrid.

You will manage 50+ GBP locations, optimize listings, audits, and build strategies aligned with AI product growth. Equity/ESOP, direct collaboration with founders, and high-growth opportunities await.

Qualifications

• 10–15+ years of dedicated local SEO and Google Business Profile management experience.
• Proven experience managing 50+ GBP locations simultaneously across multiple industries.
• Expert-level knowledge of local ranking factors — NAP, citations, local schema, review signals, proximity, and category optimization.
• Hands-on experience with tools like BrightLocal, Whitespark, GBP dashboard, Semrush Local, or equivalent.
• Strong analytical mindset with ability to translate data into clear strategies.
• Excellent written communication for reporting, review responses, and internal documentation.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute local SEO strategies to achieve and maintain top local pack rankings across all locations.
• Conduct in-depth GBP audits and implement structured improvement plans for underperforming listings.
• Handle suspended or penalized listings — reinstatement requests, appeals, and compliance.
• Monitor review activity, flag issues, and coordinate reputation response strategies.
• Track local ranking data, traffic, and GBP insights with clear, actionable reporting.
• Stay current with Google algorithm updates and proactively adapt strategies.

This is a rare, high-caliber opportunity for a true local SEO authority. We manage a growing portfolio of business locations and need someone who can own the entire Google Business Profile ecosystem — strategically, technically, and operationally. This is a full-time role built for someone who has spent 10 to 15+ years in the trenches of local SEO and GBP management and has the results to show for it.
