Job summary

SYLUX seeks a Senior Global Manufacturing Test Engineer to lead the development, industrialization, and sustainment of manufacturing test software for infrared camera systems used in ADAS. The role starts on-site at our California R&D location, collaborating with R&D to mature test methods and ensure robust production-ready solutions.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, CS or related discipline.
• 5+ years in manufacturing test software, camera/optical test systems, or related development.
• Experience with camera/optical manufacturing test systems including image acquisition and calibration.
• Automotive ADAS camera experience preferred; infrared/thermal camera a plus.

Responsibilities

• Translate prototype algorithms/tools into production test software and hardware.
• Architect, develop, deploy, and sustain standardized manufacturing test platforms globally.
• Define production test requirements, coverage, pass/fail logic, limits, data collection, and traceability.
• Integrate software with cameras, optics, alignment equipment, PLCs, and manufacturing interfaces.
• Analyze test data and system logs to troubleshoot issues and drive corrective actions.
• Maintain software architecture, release docs, troubleshooting guides, and training materials.
