Job summary

SYLUX is seeking a Senior Global Manufacturing Test Engineer to join our team. The role begins on-site at our California R&D location, collaborating with R&D to develop, industrialize, and validate manufacturing test solutions for infrared imaging cameras used in ADAS.

Following the initial assignment, you will own global technical ownership of test software and hardware across sites, driving standardization, updates, troubleshooting, sustaining support, and production-line changes.

Qualifications

• BS/MS in Electrical/Computer Engineering, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Physics, Systems Engineering, or related.
• 5+ years of experience in manufacturing test software, camera/optical test systems, or related test-system development preferred.
• Experience with camera/optical manufacturing test systems, including image acquisition and processing, MTF/SFR, calibration, and alignment measurements.

Responsibilities

• Partner with R&D to develop and mature test methods and translate prototype algorithms/tools into HVM-ready test solutions.
• Architect, develop, validate, deploy, and sustain standardized manufacturing test platforms globally.
• Define production test requirements including test sequence, coverage, pass/fail logic, and data collection.
• Integrate software with cameras, imaging hardware, optical equipment, PLCs, and manufacturing data interfaces.
• Design software for HVM robustness, including self-test, timeout handling, and logging.
• Establish correlation between R&D and manufacturing, and support sustaining actions and improvements.
