You will be responsible for developing, negotiating and implementing sourcing strategies by working with key stakeholders on technology requirements, IT, Security, Privacy and Legal, which then requires preparing and completing sourcing recommendations to various levels of management.**What You’ll Do:*** Negotiate license models (or other technology models), competitive business cases, favorable and robust terms and conditions (including legal terms), and other items to complete a full contract package.* Use your proven competence in negotiation skills, to make recommendations to Stakeholders on terms and conditions deviations and when to uphold.* Stay up to date on the IT industry, Automotive industry, and strategic direction GM software and services is headed* Work effectively cross functionally, internally and externally, while building strong relationships* Partner with IT and Business on strategy of supply base, technologies, products used, future products, technology roadmap, and viable suppliers for technology requirements.* Work with Suppliers on governance and deliveries, including sound understanding of deadlines, required lead times, supplier contracts and application types.* Active and effective participation with key stakeholders, including Engineering, IT, Business Stakeholders, Legal, and Security, among others.* Develop and manage suppliers under the guidance of quality, service, technology, and price negotiations.
