Job summary

Mars is seeking a Procurement Operations Sr Specialist - Raws to partner with Senior Procurement Manager & Buying Managers to develop and implement category buying strategies. You will drive regional and global procurement operations, standardize and automate processes, and identify cost savings on a global scale.

You will manage supplier benchmarking, RFPs and supplier qualification, analyze supplier performance, and generate KPI-driven insights while overseeing over $100M in spend annually.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of procurement experience.
• Strong stakeholder/supplier relationship management skills, domestically and internationally.
• Minimum of a bachelors degree.

Responsibilities

• Develop and optimize buying strategy and implement it where it exists.
• Manage supplier benchmarking, RFPs and new supplier qualification.
• Analyze existing supplier performance and generate supplier insights from data and KPIs.
• Oversee $100M+ of spend annually.
