Job summary

UVeye is hiring a Senior Buyer to drive global procurement strategy and execution. You will lead strategic sourcing, negotiate terms, and manage end-to-end P2P across direct and indirect spend.

Ensure material availability and partner with Engineering, Finance, and Supply Chain to align procurement with business goals. You’ll measure performance with KPIs, push cost reduction programs, and develop scalable procurement policies.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in purchasing, supply chain, or a related field.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Supply Chain Management, or related discipline.
• Strong negotiation and cross-functional communication skills.
• Hands-on ERP/purchasing system experience — NetSuite strongly preferred.
• Working knowledge of supply chain, inventory management, and budgeting principles.
• Comfort managing multiple priorities in a deadline-driven, on-site environment.
• A self-starter mindset — you take ownership and adapt as priorities shift.

Responsibilities

• Lead strategic sourcing initiatives, identifying and developing suppliers who deliver on cost, quality, delivery, and continuity
• Negotiate contracts, pricing, and SLAs that unlock real commercial value — not just line-item savings
• Drive cost reduction and supplier optimization programs that move the needle on company-wide goals
• Manage end-to-end Procure-to-Pay (P2P) processes across direct and indirect spend
• Oversee the full purchase order lifecycle, from issuance to on-time delivery
• Track supplier performance through KPIs, resolving risks before they become problems
• Ensure material availability that keeps manufacturing, NPI, and operations moving without disruption
• Partner cross-functionally with Engineering, Finance, R&D, and Supply Chain to align procurement with business strategy
• Build and refine procurement policies and controls that scale with the organization
