Job summary

Crane Co. is seeking an experienced Network Security professional to join the Global Information Security Team in Stamford, CT.

The role focuses on enterprise firewall management, SD-WAN, SASE, ZTNA, NAC and cloud security controls to strengthen Crane’s global security posture. You will oversee network security configurations, participate in incident response, and collaborate with distributed IT teams to ensure health and availability of the global security stack.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 5 years related work experience in Network Security.
• Experience with multiple common firewall providers and network security solutions.
• Experience evaluating and delivering SD-WAN, SASE, ZTNA and NAC technologies.
• Desire to mentor business unit technology counterparts and lead project efforts.
• Degree in a related field or 5+ years of relevant professional experience.
• Certifications such as GCFW/GPPA, CCNP or similar are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Perform network and security reviews across a variety of network security technologies and ensure effective controls and policy compliance.
• Provide oversight and hands-on administration of network security infrastructure including firewalls and sensors.
• Ensure proper configurations, change management, and risk identification across network security solutions.
• Evaluate security posture and identify vulnerabilities and exploitation vectors.
• Participate in cross-training with other engineers and IT support teams.
• Collaborate with business and technology managers to improve data protection processes.
• Support global incident response and security operations.
• Assist with reporting and metrics to support program objectives.
