Intel IT in the United States is seeking a Senior Network Operations Engineer to help shape the future of global network operations. This hands-on role focuses on improving incident response, change quality, operational readiness, root cause follow-through, documentation, monitoring, and scalable deployments across Intel's global network footprint.

The successful candidate will lead cross-functional improvements, mentor engineers, and help drive operational excellence across manufacturing,

Qualifications

Bachelor’s degree in CS/IT/Engineering or equivalent.
10+ years in enterprise network operations or related roles.
Strong hands-on knowledge of enterprise networking incl. routing, switching, WAN/LAN, wireless, data center, monitoring, and operational support.

Responsibilities

Provide senior technical leadership across global network operations teams, improving execution quality and accountability.
Drive improvements in incident management, problem management, change quality, and service reliability.
Lead cross-functional collaboration across operations, engineering, architecture, and vendors.
Lead global deployments of new network products, ensuring readiness, documentation, and scalable handoff to production.
Establish and reinforce operational standards, runbooks, escalation models, and service health reviews.
Improve major incident response through better triage, communication, and post-incident learning.
