Job summary

Accenture Federal Services is seeking a Principal Network Solutions Architect to lead planning, architecture, and implementation of large-scale, global network infrastructure. You will design secure, resilient networks for on-premise, hybrid, and air-gapped environments, including DoD constraints and KG encryption devices.

Qualifications

• 10+ years in senior network engineering/architecture for large-scale, global networks.
• DoD 8140 certifications required.
• Experience with DoD air-gapped networks and KG encryption devices (KG-175).
• Hybrid cloud networking experience with AWS Direct Connect and equivalents.

Responsibilities

• Lead architecture, design, and implementation of secure, scalable global network solutions.
• Develop network architectures for DoD air-gapped environments with transport security.
• Engineer highly available networks using advanced routing protocols (BGP, OSPF).
• Lead hybrid cloud network strategies with low latency connectivity (AWS/Azure).
• Define requirements for on-prem datacenter infrastructure including rack, power, cooling.
• Collaborate with security, cloud, and application teams for end-to-end security.
• Create and maintain network architecture documentation and procedures.
• Serve as escalation point for complex network issues and mentor engineers.
• Provide technical leadership across the organization on networking best practices.
