Job summary

Dematic is seeking a Senior Installation Manager to lead full lifecycle installation projects across multiple sites in the United States. You will supervise superintendents, foremen, and crews, coordinate subcontractors, and ensure safety, quality, and project milestones while maintaining equipment inventories and reporting.

Traveling up to 50% and willingness to be on call are required. A high school diploma or equivalent is needed; five years’ experience with mechanical/electrical equipment is

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Associate degree or 1–2 years vocational/technical training preferred.
• Proficient in use of personal computers for word processing, databases, and communications.

Responsibilities

• Assist with equipment trial runs and ensure installations meet Dematic standards.
• Provide training and technical support to subcontractors on equipment used for handling materials.
• Identify installation issues and propose effective solutions.
• Prepare project quotes, including pricing reviews, scope of work, schedules, and equipment lists.
• Select and coordinate subcontractors in conjunction with purchasing.
• Attend weekly project review meetings and track financials.
• Conduct site visits to support commissioning and implement safety and quality standards.
• Complete equipment run-ins and report readiness for commissioning via formal documentation.
• Manage ordering of consumables, supplies, rentals, and other resources for project execution.
• Participate in post-project reviews to recommend design or process improvements.
