Job summary

Planate Management Group (PMG) is a Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) with a global footprint, seeking a Geotechnical and Tailings Engineer to support the USTDA Global Critical Minerals Project Scoping Services. You will evaluate slope stability, tailings storage facilities, geotechnical risks and monitoring programs.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in a relevant discipline.
  • Minimum of 10 years of relevant experience; international project experience preferred.
  • Strong reporting and communication skills.
  • Experience with mineral resources or mining infrastructure preferred.
  • U.S. government contract eligibility including citizenship or permanent residency.

Responsibilities

  • Provide technical leadership and analysis.
  • Support project scoping, assessments and reporting.
  • Contribute to stakeholder consultations and presentations.
  • Ensure compliance with international standards and best practices.
  • Support proposal and project delivery activities.
