Qualifications

  • High school diploma or GED; vocational automotive training preferred; ASE Master certification preferred.
  • Four (4) years fleet, automotive or truck vehicle advanced technical repair and maintenance experience; welding and basic D.C. electrical troubleshooting preferred.
  • Knowledge of equipment, testing gauges and tools for hydraulic, gasoline, diesel, electric, and/or hybrid equipment; proficient PC skills.

Responsibilities

  • Provide timely maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, modifications, and documentation for FedEx vehicle fleet and ground support equipment.
  • Document work and maintain inventory using FedEx computer systems; ensure compliance with OSHA and DOT standards.
  • Guide and support a staff of technicians and trainees; perform other duties as assigned.
