Job summary

Piper Companies is seeking a Senior Clinical Project Manager to oversee global clinical development programs in a fully remote permanent role. You will drive study execution, timelines, budgets, and vendor oversight across cardiometabolic trials, including MASH, obesity, diabetes, and cardiovascular research.

The successful candidate will lead cross-functional teams, ensure regulatory compliance, and mentor project teams while advancing operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Life Sciences, Business Administration, Project Management, or related field; advanced degree preferred.
• Extensive clinical project management experience within pharma/biotech/CRO.
• Proven success managing global clinical trials in cardiometabolic indications.
• Strong understanding of clinical development, PM methodologies, GCP/ICH, and regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Direct global clinical trial programs from startup to closeout, ensuring deliverables, budgets, and timelines.
• Lead cross-functional teams, external vendors, and stakeholders for successful execution across regions.
• Manage project risks, forecasts, and operational challenges with high quality and compliance.
• Oversee studies in cardiometabolic areas (MASH, obesity, diabetes, cardiovascular).
• Provide strategic leadership and mentoring to project teams and drive process improvements.
