Job summary

INNIO Group is seeking a Lead Category Manager to develop and execute global sourcing strategies for key categories and suppliers. This on-site role in Waller, TX, focuses on driving supplier performance, cost savings, and continuous improvement across the company’s Revolution Power Solutions division.

The ideal candidate brings 5+ years in strategic sourcing or engineering with strong negotiation, analytics (Excel/PowerPoint), and leadership skills, plus the ability to travel globally (≈20%).

Qualifications

• 5+ years in strategic sourcing, supply chain, or engineering in an internationally operating company.
• Proven experience in project management and strategy development.
• Bachelor’s degree in Metallurgical or Mechanical engineering preferred.
• Six Sigma Green Belt required; Black Belt preferred.
• Willingness to travel at least 20% of the time to a global supply base.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute INNIO sourcing strategies for assigned categories and suppliers.
• Lead negotiations to achieve on-time delivery, quality, and deflation goals.
• Lead supplier segmentation, selection, and development; ensure high-quality relationships.
• Manage CAPEX for assigned categories and drive cost improvements and TCO.
• Collaborate with business sourcing leaders and NPIs to meet sourcing goals.
