Job summary

INNIO Group seeks a Global Category Leader to shape and execute global sourcing strategies for assigned categories and suppliers, driving supplier development and cost effectiveness. This role delivers measurable value across INNIO’s supply base and aligns with compliance and transformation goals, coordinating with cross-functional teams.

This hybrid role blends onsite work at our Waukesha, WI headquarters with remote work from home, requiring travel to our global supplier base.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in strategic sourcing, procurement, supply chain or operations.
• Proven experience in project management and strategy development.
• Excellent technical aptitude with influencing, negotiation and facilitation skills.
• Reciprocating engine knowledge is preferred.
• Willingness to travel at least 20% of the time to a global supplier base.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute global sourcing strategies for assigned categories and suppliers.
• Lead supplier segmentation, selection, and supplier development.
• Negotiate long-term agreements to achieve OTD, quality, cost savings and sustainability.
• Manage CAPEX for assigned categories and monitor compliance.
• Drive continuous improvement in processes, quality, cost and delivery.
• Interface with business sourcing leaders and cross-functional owners.
• Support NPI and product cost-out initiatives to hit sourcing goals.
