Job summary

• Supply and/or Capacity agreement - Negotiate supply agreement to ensure supply continuity, mitigate risk, and support AWS growth.
• QBR and Escalation - Lead supplier QBRs tracking performance across delivery, quality, cost, and roadmap; deliver updates and own escalations.
• Sourcing Strategy - Develop sourcing strategies while tracking industry trends and aligning supplier roadmaps to AWS initiatives.
• Cost - Own component cost management, driving year-over-year reductions in NRE, Capex and BOM+MVA; manage PPV and variance analysis.
• Contract - Negotiate complex supplier agreements and SOWs.

Key job responsibilities

• Supply and/or Capacity agreement - Negotiate supply agreement (i.e. capacity reservation agreement) to ensure supply continuity, mitigate risk, and support AWS growth.
• QBR and Escalation - Lead supplier QBRs tracking performance across delivery, quality, cost, and roadmap; deliver weekly project updates, monthly executive briefings, and own escalations to resolution.
• Sourcing Strategy - Develop sourcing strategies while tracking industry trends and aligning supplier roadmaps to AWS strategic initiatives.
• Cost - Own component cost management, driving year-over-year reductions in NRE, Capex and BOM+MVA. Manage PPV, spot market buy budget and variance analysis for financial planning.
• Contract - Negotiate complex supplier agreements and SOWs.

Basic Qualifications

• 6+ years of working with Core Cloud Technology Services, including, but not limited to Compute, Edge, Hybrid, Security, and/or Networking experience
• Experience developing strategies that influence leadership decisions at the organizational level
• Experience leading complex, multi-year initiatives that may be cross-functional and/or span business and technology
• Bachelor's degree in engineering or science

Preferred Qualifications

• Master's degree in business, data science, public administration, finance, engineering, human resources, or related field, or PMP certificate
• Experience identifying, negotiating, and executing complex legal agreements
• Experience interpreting data and making business recommendations across leadership and cross-functional teams
• Should cost model

The base salary range for this position is listed below. Your Amazon package will include sign-on payments and restricted stock units (RSUs). Final compensation will be determined based on factors including experience, qualifications, and location.
