HOYA Vision Care in Lewisville, TX, seeks a Senior Accountant, General Ledger & Payroll Accounting to join Corporate Finance. You will handle journal entries, reconciliations, payroll accounting, and intercompany transactions, partnering with HR, Treasury, and other teams to ensure accurate reporting.

The role emphasizes month-end close, internal controls, and support for audits within a controlled financial environment. SAP experience and ADP familiarity are highly valued.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field is required.
• 8+ years of progressive accounting experience including general ledger and reconciliations.
• Experience with payroll accounting, reconciliations, and employee accruals preferred.
• Experience with SAP ERP systems (SAP ECC and/or SAP S/4HANA) preferred.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and post monthly journal entries and account analyses.
• Conduct month-end and year-end close activities; ensure accuracy of financial results.
• Prepare balance sheet reconciliations and resolve reconciling items.
• Reconcile payroll general ledger accounts and coordinate with HR/Payroll teams.
• Support quarterly and annual audits with schedules and documentation.
• Record intercompany transactions and reconciliations.
