Job summary

Chenega MIOS is seeking a Senior System Engineer in Vienna, Virginia to lead advanced ArcGIS deployments and optimize enterprise IT solutions. You will consult with end users on architecture, deployment, and integration topics, ensuring solutions meet customer SLAs and security requirements.

The role requires strong problem solving, collaboration with diverse teams, and hands-on experience with Windows/Linux systems and scripting languages.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in computer science, GIS, or STEM field.
• 5+ years of professional experience in a similar role.
• Experience with enterprise ArcGIS deployments or similar IT systems.
• Windows and/or Linux system administration experience.
• Scripting or programming knowledge (Python/PowerShell/JavaScript/CSharp).
• Active or Current Top Secret Security Clearance with SCI eligibility.

Responsibilities

• Deploy and configure ArcGIS in diverse environments to meet SLAs.
• Plan and migrate content between ArcGIS deployments with varied architectures.
• Troubleshoot advanced ArcGIS deployments including storage, networking, and security.
• Collaborate with customers to design and certify GIS workflows on the ArcGIS platform.
• Align customer objectives with Esri technology through internal collaboration.
• Other duties as assigned.
