Job summary
Southern California Edison (SCE) is seeking a GIS Technical Specialist, Senior Specialist in Pomona, CA. You will join the Geospatial Analysis group within Transmission & Distribution, handling geospatial data management, Map3D workflows, and AGOL dashboards.
You’ll guide project work and deliver strategic GIS solutions. The role requires strong GIS/data analysis experience, CAD/GIS credentials, and the ability to lead cross-functional efforts while operating in a hybrid work mode with travel up
Qualifications
- Five or more years of GIS experience and data analysis.
- CAD or GIS certification / degree preferred.
- Experience with AutoDesk Map 3D 2016 (cGIS).
- Experience with ESRI ArcGIS Pro and Oracle Spatial.
- Experience developing web apps and dashboards using Experience Builder.
Responsibilities
- Perform in-depth GIS analyses and develop recommendations.
- Lead data remediation and quality control aligned with field conditions.
- Create, modify and track AGOL web apps and dashboards for projects.
- Provide technical direction and training to team members.
- Produce high-quality maps for presentations and stakeholders.
- Collaborate with internal/external partners to assess GIS impacts.
