Job summary

System One is seeking a Sr. GIS Programmer for a contract role in Towson, MD. Hybrid work model combines onsite collaboration with remote work to support the GIS program and planning office.

The ideal candidate has 5+ years in J2EE/.NET/JavaScript/HTML/C#/Python, strong ArcGIS experience, SQL proficiency, and experience with SSRS/Power BI. Responsibilities include development, upgrades, and data integration within an Enterprise GIS environment.

Qualifications

• Five years' experience developing/modifying applications using J2EE, .NET, JavaScript, HTML, C#, Python.
• Three years with ESRI ArcGIS technologies including ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS APIs, ArcGIS JavaScript API, Esri SDKs, ArcSDE.

Responsibilities

• Perform application development and support activities for the GIS Program and Planning Office.
• Upgrade and develop Agricultural Preservation Model; convert ArcMap AddIn to ArcGIS Pro AddIn (C#/Python).
• Develop GIS applications in an Enterprise GIS environment; conduct code reviews and documentation.
