Job summary

AECOM is seeking a talented GIS professional for the Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton IGI&S office. The GIS Specialist will lead a team of GIS professionals, manage data, perform analyses, and develop cartographic products to support USMC objectives.

The role requires project management experience, strong GIS foundations, and the ability to communicate effectively with government staff and project stakeholders.

Qualifications

• BA/BS plus 6+ years GIS project management experience or equivalent
• 2+ years GIS project management experience
• U.S. Citizenship is required
• Valid Driver’s License and able to pass MVR review

Responsibilities

• Lead GIS data management, geospatial analysis and modeling
• Develop visualizations and reports using ArcGIS Pro, Portal for ArcGIS, Tableau or Power BI
• Coordinate with government staff to plan, execute, and meet mission objectives
• Provide team leadership and ensure quality across GIS deliverables
• Communicate status updates to project managers and stakeholders
