Job summary

Federal Emergency Management Agency in Oakland seeks a Supervisory Emergency Management Specialist (Geospatial) to lead geospatial analysis, supervise GIS staff, and coordinate complex programs that support emergency management operations.

You will collaborate with FEMA headquarters and partners to define requirements, set priorities, and deliver data-driven products, while upholding GIS standards and data publication processes.

Responsibilities

Lead geospatial analysis and GIS program coordination to support emergency management operations.
Supervise GIS analysts, technical staff, administrative support staff, and contractor personnel.
Coordinate with FEMA HQ, regional components, field operations and partner organizations to identify requirements, set priorities and promote information sharing.
Direct development and maintenance of GIS standards, data protocols, web services, applications, shared systems and data publication processes.
