Job summary

Peraton is seeking a GIS lead to lead species range map production for marine and anadromous taxa per FWS SOP. You will conduct spatial data aggregation, CRS transformations, and validate against authoritative layers.

You will coordinate review cycles with FWS and NOAA Fisheries SMEs and produce QA documentation. Candidates should have a bachelor's degree and 8 years of experience, or equivalent, and be eligible for Public Trust clearance.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree and 8 years experience, or equivalent; U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain Public Trust clearance.
• Extensive GIS experience with species range mapping or federal environmental applications.
• Proficiency in Python, ArcGIS/QGIS, and SQL for spatial data processing.
