Job summary

TechNix LLC in Towson, MD is seeking a GIS Analyst to join Baltimore County’s Office of Information Technology GIS program. The role is hybrid (40% remote, 60% onsite) and focuses on developing an Agricultural Preservation Model and upgrading an ArcMap AddIn to ArcGIS Pro.

Qualifications

• 5+ years developing and modifying applications using J2EE, .NET, JavaScript, HTML, C#, Python.
• 3+ years with ESRI ArcGIS technologies including ArcGIS Server, APIs, ArcGIS JavaScript API, Esri SDKs, ArcSDE.
• Strong SQL knowledge with triggers and stored procedures; reports via SSRS/Power BI.

Responsibilities

• GIS application development in an Enterprise GIS environment.
• Code review, documentation, planning and development.
• Database development.
• Strong knowledge of SQL and relational databases (Oracle, SQL Server preferred).
• Development of reports using SSRS and Power BI.
• Excellent communication skills.
