Job summary

Infosys is seeking a Domain Consultant 2 to drive GIS-focused digital transformation for services, utilities, resources, and energy sectors. The role emphasizes ArcGIS Enterprise architectures, server administration, geodatabases, and geospatial development across transportation, utilities, environmental, and infrastructure domains.

The candidate should bring hands-on ArcGIS components experience and strong Python knowledge to support client projects, benchmarks, and SOP documentation.

Qualifications

• Experience delivering GIS solutions using Esri ArcGIS Enterprise.
• Experience with enterprise geodatabases and spatial data management.
• Hands-on with ArcGIS components including Portal for ArcGIS, ArcGIS Server, Data Store, Geo Event Server, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Pro, and Survey123.
• Strong Python knowledge and scripting capabilities.

Responsibilities

• Analyze client business processes to identify optimization opportunities in GIS domains.
• Benchmark studies and align solutions with industry standards and domain insights.
• Document system configurations and draft standard operating procedures (SOPs).
• Coordinate implementation and post‑implementation support to ensure system stability.

In the assigned Job Role of Domain Consultant 2, your Area Of Responsibility will be as below:

• Analyze client business processes to identify optimization opportunities and align them with industry-specific standards and best practices
• Facilitate benchmarking studies, working with stakeholders to align solution performance with industry standards and domain-specific insights
• Collaborate with technical teams and document system customizations and configurations, drafting standard operating procedures and workflows that align with functional requirements of the relevant sector
• Conduct in-depth research on third-party products within the domain, providing comparative analysis of features, costs, and scalability
• Coordinate the implementation of solutions addressing issues during setup and integration, and support in developing and maintaining SOPs, to ensure system stability and performance post-implementation

Required Skill and Experience

• GIS Developer win designing, developing, configuring, testing, implementing, and supporting enterprise GIS solutions using Esri ArcGIS Enterprise technologies across transportation, utility, environmental, and infrastructure domains
• Strong expertise in ArcGIS Enterprise architecture, GIS server administration, enterprise geodatabases, spatial data management, and geospatial application development
• Hands-on experience with ArcGIS Enterprise components including Portal for ArcGIS, ArcGIS Server, ArcGIS Data Store, Geo Event Server, ArcGIS Online, ArcGIS Pro, and Survey123
• Strong PYthon knowledge

Preferred Skill and Experience

Additional Required Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or foreign equivalent required from an accredited institution. Will also consider three years of progressive experience in the specialty in lieu of every year of education.
• This position may require relocation and/or travel to work/project location.

The estimated annual compensation for this role in Oakland, California, will be $85449 to $116132.
