Job summary

DataStaff, Inc. is seeking a highly skilled GIS Analyst for a long-term contract in the Richmond, VA area. The candidate will perform advanced GIS analysis, enterprise asset data management, and ESRI-based application development, coordinating with IT and asset management teams.

Applicants should have 5+ years in GIS, ArcGIS Pro/Enterprise, and Python, with the ability to build web applications and multi-layered maps and communicate complex technical concepts to non-technical users.

Qualifications

• BS/BA in GIS or related field.
• 5+ years designing, building, and delivering web applications.
• Excellent problem-solving, verbal, and written communication skills.
• Experience with ArcSDE and ArcGIS Enterprise.
• Ability to work independently to develop GIS tools and applications.
• Proficiency in Python.
• Experience with enterprise asset management systems.

Responsibilities

• Analyze, validate, and maintain GIS data for maintenance assets.
• Develop and maintain GIS applications using ESRI technologies.
• Serve as a technical liaison between ITD, asset management admins, and system users.
• Perform advanced GIS analysis and multi-layered map development.
• Coordinate with cross-functional teams to deliver GIS solutions.
