Job summary

RS&H is seeking a GIS Specialist to join our team in Fort Lauderdale, reporting to the FDOT D4 office. The role covers full lifecycle geospatial data and systems, with a focus on enterprise GIS databases, advanced spatial analysis, and GIS server administration.

You will contribute as a technical expert, guiding other departments and ensuring data-driven decision-making across the organization. Immediate start with 40-hour weeks, in-person FDOT District Four location.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in GIS, Geography, Computer Science, or related field; Master’s preferred; 5 years of GIS/geospatial experience.
• Proficient in SQL and Python.
• Excellent written and verbal communication in English with stakeholders.
• Knowledge of ArcGIS Enterprise/Online administration, ArcGIS Desktop tools (ArcCatalog/ArcMap/ArcPro), and ArcGIS data management.

Responsibilities

• Serve as GIS analyst programmer using current GIS technology.
• Assist with administration/maintenance of ArcGIS Enterprise & ArcGIS Online.
• Act as the point of contact for GIS projects/assignments.
• Maintain GIS applications, servers, layers, and feature classes for FDOT District Four offices.
